Genesis 12:1 is a familiar passage - a call to Abram to go to a place God would show him.
This is also a call to us. A call of salvation for those who don't know Him yet - and a call to daily obedience once we say yes to Him.
As I meditated on this, this is what I heard God say...to me.

Launching a Year of Intentions - Filling My Blank Canvas
A New Year always brings about intentions. People make promises and resolutions to lose weight, stop a habit, and make changes for the better. Well, I have taken on a writing challenge to write 500 words a day for 31 Days.
I promise I won't post every word here at The Stream's Edge but I may share some I think may spur you on in some way.

Go Forth into 2015

A blank canvas can either inspire or terrify. And a new
year can do the same. As I look ahead to the 365 days before me, I am hopeful,
partly because I know God goes with me.
As I read yesterday, the words, GO FORTH, popped off
the page in Isaiah. It’s as if the Lord was saying, “You know what I have
called you to do, so just do it.”
