Word Pictures

Another way I love to express creativity is through photography. I don't have a beefed up camera, but I enjoy using the capability I have, capturing nature and landscapes--more than portraits. If indeed a picture is worth a 1000 words....I wonder what these would say?

Feel free to caption one or write a paragraph about it.

  1. I find taking pictures as very therapeutic. I agree, any picture is worth 1000 words and the ones you took are awesome.

  2. The red barn brings back so many childhood memories. I miss jumping from the haystacks and climbing back up the ladder.

I grew up with horses and miss them! I wish I could go back in time and revisit this place. Thanks for the memories!

  4. Bonnie,
It's funny how photos can do that with our memories. They a cataloged along with feelings, smells, and desires.
Thanks for your thoughts. That barn is near my home. The older couple had it moved from their property to the fairgrounds where it is used for exhibits during the fall. It is a gorgeous building and I hope to get some more photos in different seasons

  7. Like you, I love nature and prefer to take pictures without people.
Lovely work. My cell takes better pics than our camera! I'd title your birdhouose photo: Nesting in Nature. The butterfly: Just
Visiting. And the Barn: Perfect Summer :)

  8. Love your titles, Danie. Thanks for stopping by.
Sometimes I think I would like to take a photography class just to be able to use what I have :)
